Hi Sue:
My husband's maternal grandmother was Mary Ann Morgan Dymond from St. John's Newfoundland. Her parents were John Dymond and Mary Ann Voisy or Voisey.
The Dymonds were from England as far as we know.
When she married she came to Quebec with three of her sisters.
My mother in law lives in the Eastern Townships of Quebec and sends us a subscription to the Sherbrooke Record and I saw a Dymond family who had roots there for many years and wanted to contact them but I never did. I kept the article from the paper however.
Could there be a connection?
