I am researching the Diamond Family in Western PA; specifically William Martin Diamond (My husband's father) and his sister, Margaret "Peggy" Diamond, children of Margaret Thompson and "Pete" Diamond. Pete was born in Wheeling, WVA, worked the coal mines in Morgantown, WVA, then moved to the steel mills of Pittsburgh, living in Glen Willard PA. Margaret was born in Ireland and was the only one in her family to immigrate to the U. S. My father-in-law is named after one of her brothers, William Martin Thompson. Any connection here? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
