Diamonds from Muckroe Foxford Co Mayo

I'm in the process at the moment of researching my own family DIAMOND (sometimes spelt Dimond).
My family come from Muckroe, Near Foxford Co Mayo.
I have managed to trace my grandfather birth cert (many years ago). His name was James Diamond and he was born in 1871 (he married a Mary Prendergast) and lived at Muckroe. I know that his father's name was John and that he married Bridget Naughton around 1871 and lived at Muckroe (I would dearly love to trace his birth certificate). John's father was William and he married Nancy Deacy around 1829 and moved onto half of her family's farm in Muckroe (the other half went to her sister who married a Sheerin) - I do not know where he came from before he married - but think it may have been Killasser - obviously I would love details on him - but chances are this may be too far back to trace.
Does anyone have any info on either John or William??? Love to hear - thanks
