According to others online, Robert Dial died in 1793 and is buried in Whitaker Chapel Cemetery (formerly in Rowan County, not sure which one now that boundaries have changed, but near Salisbury, NC)with wife Rachel and son-in-law Gallent Lane. Some of this Robert's children moved on to TN, KY, and OH. I am descended from his daughter, Araminta, who married Gallent Lane. Araminta's line and her brother Shadrach Dial's family moved to Clermont County, OH. He may have had a son named Robert also, but i don't know anything about that line.
