Ghent, NY... Columbia County... My Maternal Grandmother was Helen Deyoe Goold. Her brother was Cornelius Deyoe. were born at the end of the 1800's, so this may have been their grandfather? Their Father was Harry Deyoe (not Henry), who was married to Libby Mesick. I know that they were connected with the Bartletts. Indeed there is a Bartlett House in the Town of Ghent, where my Grandmother's family worked when Mom was little. My mother is still alive @87, and knows much of the history of the Bartletts in Ghent. Cornelius (who was called Petie by all) has a Son, Richard who lives in the state of Washington now, and has two sons of his own.
