I suspect all Deyos go back to New Paltz, NY in 1600's to Christian Deyo from France. See Cyndi's list under"Huguenot">"Huguenot Society, New Paltz" > "Families of Huguenot Streets" > "Link to Deyo Home Page". Also check www.familytreemaker.com and search for Christian Deyo. There is a book about this family.
