There is a 2-vol. genealogy titled "The History of the Treman, Tremaine, Truman Families in America, With Related Families of Mack, Dey, Board and Ayers, etc." by Ebenezer Mack Truman and M.E. Poole (1901) which covers this DEY family fairly well beginning on Page 741 of Volume 1. Also be aware that the home of Col. Theunis Dey, called the Dey Mansion, near Wayne, NJ is open to the public because Washington slept there.
