I am seeking information about the origins of John Ely Dey and his wife Sarah Mount of Lebanon, Warren Co., Ohio. He was born in Monmouth, New Jersey, the son of William Dey and Phebe Ely. He married Sarah Mount and moved to Lebanon, Ohio, where he lived and raised his family until his death in 1889. We have found only references to his family in the Warren Co., Ohio histories, but nothing conclusive in New Jersey or elsewhere. Can anyone out there help us?
