I'm looking to converse with individuals familiar with John Baird Dey (1845-1922), son of Lewis Dey (1818-1894)and Polly Valentine (1824-1910). Originally out of New Jersey the father and son pioneered Ohio, Iowa and Nebraska. John fought in civil war as private (USA). Became small-town newspaper publisher in Bradshaw, NE. If you are related or are knowledgable on this family, I'd like to communicate with you. John was my g-g-grandfather.
