I came across a 1925 letter yesterday about our family history and want to know more about this part:
"I found out from Linnie Bushnell down in New York State, that Grandmother Merchant's (my mohters mother) maiden name was Nancy Dexter. She first married a man by the name of Frink, who was aunt Carrie's father, and next Wm. Merchant, who was ma's father.
The Dexters came form England. Some came 1629-30 - some other families later in the same century."
Does anyone have anymore information?
