In her 1951 obituary in the Ionia Sentinel Standard, it says that Mary Elizabeth (Connor) Haynor was a direct descendant of Samuel Dexter of the Dexter Party that founded Ionia, and I thought to try to make the connection.
However, surprisingly enough, I have found very little personal information on Samuel Dexter, let alone a complete list of his children or grandchildren, so am hoping to find a trace that I can start from.
Mary was born in 1868, and as a direct descendant I take this to mean she was probably a grand-daughter.
