Ethel Ahrens had a son on 11 June 1902. The father's name was Harland L. Watts, on 16 June 1902 they took the child to the Randolph Childrens Home and left him there. The child was named Cecil Chauncey. The parents to pay $1.50 a week for his care. On 12 December 1902 he was adopted by Marcus T. Dexter and Bertha R. (Spaulding) Dexter. His name from then on was Chauncey Dexter. I have documentation on this record. Chauncey Dexter's death certificate states his father as (adopted father) as Marcus T. Dexter. I am looking for Harland L. Watts (as stated on Childrens Home papers) family. They lived in Cuba Town. Ethel Ahrens lived in the Wellsville/Friendship towns. I would like to know the birth parents family members, and also if thier was a possibility of a twin to Chauncey. Thank you in advance.
