Do you have more information on the daughter Anna? In 1870, she was listed on the Tuscarora census living at home with her parents and a four year old boy named Judson. In the 1880 census, she is listed as being married to George Hawley with a daughter named Pheobe and Judson is listed as Judson Whipple, step-son.

Do you know which WHIPPLE is the father of Judson Dexter Whipple? This would be a Whipple of the same Whipple family that was from Rhode Island/Conn. area. Apparently many settlers of that area (Laceyville) were from New England and settled together.

Also, are you sure that Almira Irene was ONE individual? I have found in the Bradford County Courthouse records to show the following:

March 15, 1848, in Spring Hill, by Eld. H.H. Gray, Ezra Keeney of Braintrim and Miss Almira M. Dexter of Spring Hill

October 14, 1848, in Rush, by Eld. H.H. Gray, Uriah Danks of Syracuse, N.Y., and Miss Irene A. Dexter of Spring Hill, Bradford County.
