My great grandparents were Charles Lefley and Kathleen DEXTER. Kathleen was born 1886, and her family were living at Poets Corner, Wilfred Grove, Nottingham. I know Kathleen had at least one sister, Nora DEXTER who never married and died in 1976, and a brother Frederick William who died on the 1st day of the battle of the Somme. Their parents were Frederick William DEXTER and Kathleen WARD. I have checked the 1881 census and there seem to be 2 possible DEXTER families in 1881 who Frederick William (senior) could have belonged to, both in Nottingham.
