Looking for information on Dexter's in Minnesota. My grandfather was Ernest Alvin Dexter, born 12/11/1911 and died 2/1984 in Big Stone County, MN. Parent's were Rueben and Charlotte (Briddell) Dexter and siblings are: Roy E., Ella Jeanette (died in MN), Mabel (died in OR), Daisy (died in OR) and Florence (died in MN). Ernest married Dorothy Knutson Radmer and they had 1 child Alvin Reuben, still living.
Miscellaneous notes: Ernest and Dorothy owned/operated "Dexter's Store" near Correll, MN in Big Stone County.
The Dexter children attended "Dexter's School" in Big Stone County, MN.
Prior to marrying Ernest, Dorothy was married to August Radmer also of Big Stone County, MN; they had 2 children: Lauren Richard who died as an infant, and Sharon Marie who is still living.
