I am trying to find ancestors of my great grandfather Henry W. Dexter.
He was born in Wheeling WV Jan 22 1853.

He Married Ellen J. Phillips in 1876. Ellen was born Aug 25, 1856 in Fairfield IA.

They were in Fairfield IA. in 1877 when their daughter (my grandmother), Belle, was born and in Jewel Co. KS in 1880 when the second daughter Merrium was born.
I think Henry died in Wichita KS

In one census I found him in, Henry gave his father's birthplace as Connecticut and his mother's birthplace as Pennsylvania.
