My ggg-grandmother, Elizabeth Lloyd Dexter, was born May 6, 1797, supposedly in Boston. She married Zebina Sears at Second Baptist Church (Baldwin Place Baptist Church), Boston, on Aug. 9, 1812. Zebina was a sea captain who lived in Boston and Dennis. Elizabeth died April 28, 1880 in Boston.
Their children were (surname Sears): Charles Zebina Harris, Hannah Elizabeth, Joseph Henry, Alfred Francis (my gg-grandfather), Edwin Dexter, Franklin A. and Augustus M.
All I know of Elizabeth Lloyd Dexter's ancestry is from a note in my gg-grandfather's hand, in which he states that his mother was the child of her mother's third marriage, and that she was named in honor of her mother's second husband, a Mr. Lloyd, who died without issue.
Elizabeth has been my BIGGEST dead-end for years. Would appreciate any help!
