There is a book DEXTER GENEALOGY - A record of the families descended from the Rev. Gregory Dexter (who d. age 90 in 1700) by S. C. Newman originally printed Providence RI 1859 (that date is not a typo). This is one of those books of the period where a commissioned author solicited info from those family members they could locate who would return info from their branch for inclusion in the book, a rather normal practice during that time period. Interesting but not 100% accurate because it did not include all descendants. My copy is a hardback photocopied in 1985 by Higginson Books (e-mail higginsn@cove.com). Hope this helps. Frances
