I am researching gggrandparents Solon Fordyce DEXTER (1815-1899) who m. Rachel CHAMBERS (1823- ) in 1846 in Barnard, Windsor, VT. They had children William White DEXTER, my ggrandfather (1850-1935), Freddie E (1856-1861), Albert L or C (1857- ), Edward H (1859- ), Florence A (1863-) who m. Merrill CRAIG, and Herbert L or C (1866-). In 1860 there was an S.F. DEXTER in Canton, St. Lawrence Cty, NY but I am not certain if this is Solon. In 1879 William m. Ida Arvilla GUTTERSON (1857-1921) in Rensselaer Falls, St. Lawrence Cty, NY. In 1885 or so William and Ida were living in LA, LA Cty, CA.
