Hello, my name is Fred Dews (William Frederick Dews, II).
I've only been able to trace my Dews lineage back through my
great-grandfather, Robert H. Dews (nicknamed Robert the Devil??).
He was born in about 1866 in Yorkshire, and emigrated to Chicago
in about 1887. My grandfather is Frederick William Dews of
Chicago, and my father is William Frederick Dews, also born in
Chicago. I was born in Abilene, Texas.
I'd love to share more detailed information about this lineage
if I may, with any Dews out there.
