My gggrandfather George Dews was born in Healaugh Village,Yorkshire in 1808. Georges's parents were Thomas (b.1770, d.1835)and Mary Carey(d.1854). Their parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Archbell. George a Methodist minister left England in 1849 to join his brothers Robert and John in Macoupin Co. Ill. His wife Hannah Snow and children later joined him. Any connection?
