Subject: Bad News re: Kathryn
I am Kathryn DeWitt Gazaway's daughter, Patsy Halk. I am sorry to inform you in
this manner with such bad news but I do not know how to contact most of you.
Kathyrn (my mother) died peacefully in my home at !:30 am on Thursday, February
15, 2001 of end stage lung disease. She was 68 years old. Her husband (my dad)
and she would have been married 50 years this June 4th. She will be buried at
our family cemetary in Utopia. Her funeral will be at Utopia Baptist Church in
Utopia, Texas on Monday, February 19th at 10 am. There will be no viewing at
the funeral home but viewing will be held at the church beginning at 9:00 am.
Rushing-Estes-Knowles Funeral Home in Uvalde is handling the arrangements.
Their number is 830-278-5611. If you need more specific information you may
call the house at 830-966-3582. If you wish to offer condolences to my dad a
card would be better than a call at this time.
