My great grandfather William Young HARDIE b.1840 married Eliabeth Dewhurst at St. John's Church Blackburn England 12th March 1864. They had four children William; Gertrude;Herbert Kilshaw; Percy (my grandfather). My G.grandfather was a civil engineer in England and Elizabeth Dewhurst belonged to the cotton mill Dewhursts from Manchester.I would like any history of the Dewhurst family.
