I'm trying to find the parents of my George W. DEWALT b bef 1775 (probably ca 1772), who m Elizabeth EMERY, and moved to SE OH, via VA (first 2 kids b VA). I believe he's from PA, but not sure where, so I'm looking at different PA lines.
The Johannes/Christiana line is compelling for several reasons:
a. family names, particularly names George and Christiana
b. a couple lines moving to OH (though NOT to where my George went)
I'm wondering if you might know if Johannes/Christiana had a son named George b in that time frame, and if so, anything about him?
