Henri DeVault (b.1733 d. 1817) -- w/wife
Catherine, baby son Philip, & Catherine's
brother Gabriel) arr: Philly 1766. Settled
Manhein Twnshp, Hanover, York Co, PA. Had 11
children. Among them, sons Valentine &
Frederick (inherited 600+ acres -- from Henri's estate -- in Washington Co, TN -- was Sullivan Co a break-off of Washington?)
Frederick m. Margaret Range - had 10 children. Son Peter (b. 1808 d. 1872) m.1831
Mary Hoss (d1882) -- had 9 children: Abraham, Catherine, John, Emma, Francis Louise, Mary, Henry, Frederick, Alfred. Right now, this is the only Abraham I have in my files....and I have no further desc. info on this branch of the family.

Henri did have a brother Philip (I currently know nothing of Valentine). Henri & Philip were born abt. Dole France -- Henri m. Catherine (German girl) 1760. They w/baby, & her brother took riverboat on Rhine to Rotterdam, ship to Philly. Henri's brother Philip died in Cincinatti, Ohio -- he had 2 children to my knowledge, Catharine & son Philip. That's all I have on him now.

I agree there is a connection somewhere. We
WILL find it. Hope this helps.
