I am hoping someone may recognize our gg-grandmother, Mamie (nee ?/Hoy/McBryde) DeWald, b. 1851 IL. She is listed on the 1920 Jackson Co., MO census with her son/dau law, William & Inez Hoy, g-grandparents. The census indicated that Mamie is married, however, shows her as head of household.
We have never found her listed on any census record living with husbands. If anyone can help with the Hoy/DeWald family line, I would be most greatful for any help or information given.
