Hi Judy,

Email me about your questions pertaining to the Dewalts. I'm a direct descendant of Johannes and Christine (Rexer) Dewalt of Bethlehem Twp. and have a fairly large database of their family and descendants, which I would be glad to share.

Michael Dewald and wife, Maria Barbara (nee Schmidt) lived in Windsor Twp., Berks Co., PA. To date, I have found no evidence to suggest that Johannes and Michael were related. I've been in contact with the historian from the Michael Dewald clan. Perhaps she knows the parents of Michael's wife.
