Searching for info on ANY DeWalt/DeVault families in the area of Holmes Co, OH or Mason Co, ILL in the late 1700's to mid 1800's.
Specifically looking for ancestors of Elizabeth and Delilah DeWalt/DeVault who married Francis Scholes 1830 Holmes Co, OH. Delilah and Francis later moved to Mason Co, ILL, between 1839 and 1844. Children are Benjamin, Elizabeth (m Miller), Sarah (m Hardin), Curtis Allen b 1839 OH (Civil War vet), John b 1844 Cass Co, ILL (Civil War vet) (m Gideon), Mary b 1849 Mason Co, ILL (m Gobin), Nancy C b 1850, Martha b 1854, Francis b 1847.
