DEW, HARTWELL ALLEN JR., 76, of Crystal River, died Monday (March 31, 2003) at home. Born in Anniston, Ala., he came here 38 years from Miami. He was a retired supply salesman for Jacksonville Marine Supply. He was an Army lieutenant and veteran who served in World War II and the Korea War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 388 F&AM and a life member of Disabled American Veterans. He was Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Bebe Chloe; two sons, Joel Ward and Duncan Thomas, both of Crystal River; a daughter, Lucy Ann Mannion, Lecanto; a sister, Lucy Ann White, Jacksonville; a brother, Preston Ward, Orange Park; and three grandchildren. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory, Crystal River.
