Hi,
What I wrote before is accurate, but not complete.
I had forgotten that the first son of the family was John Bennie Ates DeVries. He fought in WWI, survived, came home and was one day doing sommersaults in the yard and died. Supposedly from a brain hemmorage, aneurysm or something of the like.
He was never married nor had any children to my knowledge.
