A friend found this marriage for us in Drenthe (GenLias)--

So we know for sure that Arend's parents were Hendrik Nijmeyer and Lammigje Jonkers (I had the wrong ones!), and Fruike's parents were Bart Sytzes Sytzema and Saapke Johannes Kort (I had the right ones!). To recap what I only speculated on earlier:

I suspect Bart was previously married and had children by another wife, so he could still be the father of the other Sietse I found earlier who died about 1814. I'll look into your new query tomorrow; I'm not too hopeful on that one.
