DeVries in and around Goshen, Indiana
I am looking for descendents of Jacob DeVries and Lucy (Lamminje) Nymeyer DeVries.They were both born in the Netherlands and came to the Goshen- New Paris- Milford areain Indiana.in the late 1870'sThey had several children according to the 1880 census.Their oldest daughter, Christina, married Richard Traster, the 2nd daughter,Katherine, married a Keller.Their 3rd child was Henry, 4th child was John, their 5th child was Charles, their 6th child was Joseph. Jacob, Lucy and a son Joel are buried in the Maple Grove Cem. southof Goshen, IN.I'm sure they had more children after 1880.Jacob lived from 1841-1917. Lucy died in 1921.I am looking for information on any of the children to be able to develop that line of the family.
