Joseph Crandon DeVore, was born 25 Nov 1878 in Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY, married 23 Dec 1900, to Etta Elizabeth Richardson they had ten children from this union. Joseph died 24 May 1935, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky. (My question is does anyone know where he is buried or his wife?) Etta Elizabeth Richardson, was born 27 Jul 1884 in Kentucky and died 14 Feb 1958, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., Kentucky. Etta remarried after Joseph died and married a younger a brother of his William Henry DeVore abt. 1936. Have searched almost all of the cemetery records of Jefferson Co., Hardin Co., Hart Co., KY and the local counties of Harrison, Clark and Floyd Co., Indiana. Family rumor has them buried in Elizabethtown, and another in Louisville.
