Dear Erin;
Look up Fountain D. DeVore of Fayette Co. KY, born Sept. 1805, died Dec. 29, 1898 Sidney, IA,; buried Fremont Co. MO
married first to Susan Garrison, on Aug. 30, 1827; second to Eliza Perkins, on Oct. 20, 1886 Atchison Co. MO.
Fountain was the son of David DeVore, Sr. of Pennsylvania, born Abt. 1778, died Abt. 1866 in Fayette Co. Ky. He was married to Martha Emerson abt. 1799, in Fayette Co. KY.

Unless David was a son of Philip DeVore of 1730, NJ/PA/KY/IN 1808, which seems to be unlikely, I can not see how we are related thru any of my known ancestors at this time.
