My family line begins in Hart County, Kentucky with John B. DeVore, I believe that him and his father Philip DeVore, came from the area near Fort Pitt, PA, sometime just after the Revolutionary War,
Maybe just after the settlement of who own and control that area, between Maryland/Virginia/Pennsylvania, They may of been in the group, who fled the land to Kentucky after the Whiskey Rebellion in 1794.
