I'am asking all DEVORE's to go to "FIND-A-GRAVE". This web site has been one of the best sourse of information on our past ancestor that I have ever found. It now has 407 Devore's listed, it list where they are buried, some bio info, birth and death dates, photos, and possible links to their children.
And if you see, that your parents, or grandparents, uncles and aunts, cousins or ancestors are not recorded in the family cemetery, enter it! "IT's FREE"
There are over 24,000 living Devore's in this country and about 100,000 unrecorded burials. I go to these so call cemetery listing at this one or another State's or county listing and search each and every cemetery listing only to find, that it's a just a part of a list of one family ancestors and not a complete listing of the cemetery.
How is one to find our ancestors if they are not recorded, by the State, or the cemetery that they're buried in, or ones family, so I urge every DEVORE, help yourself, help your descendants, help the family of DEVORE. There may never be another Betty Mann out there to collect and publish a DEVORE book again.
This is one of the best way I know of finding and recording detail info on a decease family member and not having to become intimate, to this or that long ago, or unknowned family member or payed service.
