Looking for descendants and parents of Edmund or Edward MORRISON b. abt 1791 in probably Maryland or Pennsylvania. He is listed in "Austin's Register of Families" and in the "Character Certificates in Land Office of Texas", White, 976.4, w58c, he states he was born in Maryland and that he entered Texas in 1825. He and wife, PATSY DEVORE, had 5 children born in Texas , then in 1838 they moved to Louisiana (Rapides) where 4 more children were born. I only know of three of these families; Absolom b. Tx in 1836, Edward, ggf b. La. 1843, and David b. La 1848. Would like to know about others: Edeline & Lenora b. 1829, Essac b. 1832, Anna b. 1837, Sarah,. These 4 with absolom were b. in Texas. Sarah b. 1839, John b. 1842, Edward (My ggf) b. 1843, David b. 1848, were all born in Louisiana. Want info on ancestors of Patsy Devore.
