Do you have a location for Elizabeth's gravesite. We have been to Paris Township (now city of Kentwood) but were not looking for her grave there. Is this the correct place?
Were the Drake's and Jannsen's from New Paltz, NY? We have traced the Devoe's back to there but not further.
Anna Devoe who we think married Richard Palmateer in Prattsburg, NY subsequently moved to Ohio, where we believed Richard died. Later, she married Stephen Hammond and settled in Gaines Township, near Grand Rapids, Michigan. She died in 1881 and is buried in Blain Cemetery in Gaines Township.
Do you have any further back information on the Devoes? (Further back than Jacob?)
We also think that Jacob and Elizabeth were separated? but do not know why or who they were living with when they died. We think that Elizabeth died in 1855 not 1885. Can you confirm?
