I am looking for information on my ggrandmother's family. Her name was Rose Devlin (b: January 7, 1874 in Doylestown, OH), she married John Charles Stewart April 20, 1893 in Nanaimo, BC. Her mother's name was Jane (nee Hood) (b: February 17, 1838 in Aryshire, Scotland). Father's name was John, he was Catholic born in Ireland about 1837 and he died about 1875 in Summit County, Ohio at the age of 37. John was a miner. Rose had 5 sisters and 1 brother: Hannah E.(b: 1864) married Elmer Stump in 1889; Jennie (b; 1870) married C. Otto Wagoner, (date unknown); Anna (date unknown) married unknown Ries, (date unknown); Elizabeth (date unknown) married Norman Dailey, (date unknown); Sarah (date unknown) married unknown Bechtel, (date unknown); Tom, who died young and no issue. Jane Devlin married James Gordon who was also a miner, in about 1875 and they had a daughter Eliza Jane in 1876. James and Jane Gordon came to Nanaimo,BC, Canada in about 1886, Rose and Eliza Jane both stayed in Canada with James and Jane, the rest of the family went back to Ohio and lived in either Akron, Manchester or Doylestown. Does anyone have information on Rose's sisters, brother or father?
