Not my Devlins, as far as I know... I have been unable to trace records of my gt Gt grandfather's birth or marriage in Ireland. He was Henry Devlin B around 1859, who m Jane Bradley, B 1863, whose parents, John Bradley and Rose Ann Birnie had a son, John Bradley, in Bellaghy, Co. Derry in 1864) Family folklore said Henry was from Co Derry.
I am trying to get his death certificate from GRO, and I have ordered a likely one, which I expect to be delivered any day now. This would give his parents' names. The trouble is that there are several likely Henrys and, like you, I am quite likely to end up with a certificate for someone else's ancestor!
We could be connected though - my dad was a Joseph, too and there are Mary's...alas, this is true of many Devlin families!
Will keep my eyes open for your Mary.
