Hi Dan
Have just read with interest your Devlin connections with Tyrone and Donegal
Hope you may be able to help me with my Devlin connections in that area.

My grandfather , Great-grandfather and Great great grandfather were all called Cornelius.

The first dates I have are when my Great grandfather married here in Liverpool in Feb 1876 already a widower at 25. His father is named on marriage certificate as occupation farmer, presumably he was still in Ireland at that time.

We also know there is some connection with Burt and Newtoncunningham also Speenogue as I remember visiting distant relatives there in the 60's
I have just returned from Donegal where I looked them up, they all remember the family but cannot work out the family link.
Their family names are Hegarty and Fitzpatrick
Sorry this is all so vague but I hope you may be able to come up with some more info for me

many thanks
Trisha Jones
