HALLO,
I am currently researching my Great Grandmothers side, DEVLIN from AUGHNAGUN in the parish of CLONALLEN N. IRELAND.
I have her birth in 1865 to THOMAS DEVLIN and ALICE McMANUS. THOMAS was from AUGHNAGUN (son of JAMES DEVLIN) and ALICE from BENAGH daughter of DANIEL McMANUS.
Mary was an only child, within the marriage, but Thomas MAY have fathered a child before he married.
Mary had a cousin called JOE DEVLIN who, it is said, was a legal person, but information I have been given suggests he may have been WEE JOE DEVLIN B.1871. This may or may not be correct. Anyone out there with any suggestions or interest in this posting can contact me with their theories.
