There's only one Edward I've found in my research of the two immigrant Devlin families I've done, and that's in the Devlin & Co. family. The reason I mention this is because certain names, particularly Daniel, John and less so, William, appear throughout these two families. There's red hair in our family, too, but I don't think it's from Devlins. Myself, my father, grandfather and g-grandfather had dark, almost black hair and hazel eyes. I sure wish I was related to your branch, the longevity gene must be really strong! Bill Devlin
