Hi Alyce

Don't know if this is any help but my Father is William Farrell Devlin, his Mother was Agnus McGovern (Devlin) whose brother was named Farrell! Her husband (my g/father) was William Devlin from Ayrshire originally. He and Agnus had 8 children Cathy (now in Sacremento,USA),Agnus,William(Dad),James,Margaret,Edward,Gertrude and John. If nothing else its a wow! if only to marvel at the re-cycling of the names! Do let me know if you find a connection as I am new to all of this.
