Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, like a lot of people, all I know is that my 2x came from Ireland and was called John Devlin, s/o John, a weaver. I have a rough date of birth, but that varies a bit!

I dont know how to go about finding which part of Ireland he came from. Any suggestions?
