I have a connection to this line of Devlins/Davlins via James Thomas Davlin, a brother to Margaret Ann. James Thomas Davlin's grandson, James Norman Davlin b: May 15, 1914 married Ruby Edans who was a 1st cousin 1x removed of mine on my maternal side. I'm no expert researcher on this line as I tripped across the information on them via WFT Vol. 7, Tree 1210. What little I have on the Devlins/Davlins came from that source. I am interest in the Devlins in that I have a line of them coming in up in Pennsylvania via my McFarland tree which is my paternal side. They immigrated from Co. Derry whereas the Devlin/Davlin line seems to go back to Co. Tyrone - close enough that I'm interested if they'll connect.
