Are you sure she was born in Ireland? My great great grandfather George Devlin was born in 1855 in Ontario of an Irish-born father and mother. He had some older siblings, and some first cousins, including I think a Mary Ann (notes on siblings are not with me), but they were all born in Ontario (correction: he may have had some cousins by a late-coming uncle who were born in Ireland). George's father's name was William, and there may be some other Williams in the family. I have dug up a fair amount on George's grandfather, John Devlin (c. 1775 Ireland-1849 Ontario) and John's descendants from Canadian sources if you are interested. See my web page at or e-mail me.
