My search for Ellen ends with sucess!!She is found in the 1860 Town of Esopus Census in Ulster Co.,N.Y. She is age 6 and has a sister Rose A. age 2. Both were born in New York. Their Mother is Ann age 23 born in Ireland. She is listed as a Grocer and is the head of household. In the 1870 census Rose is not listed and Ann is now listed as Saloon Keeper and a widow. I've searched 1850 census and did not find the family. My search continues for Ann's husband, her maiden name, and where in Ireland they are from! Any help is most appreciated!
