Lewis Devlin was from Philadelphia. He was born in Tyrone, Ireland in 1825. In 1860 he was working in Philly as a laborer. He enlisted 13 Sep 1861 the 100th PA Infantry, "E" Company. On 22 Jun 1864 he was captured at Waldron RR, VA. He died on 8 Aug 1864 at Andersonville Prison and is buried in grave # 5023. His wife was Mary Jane Wilson who was born in Donegal, Ireland in 1825 and died in Philly on 1 March 1903. They had two children: John, born in 1843, and Mary Jane, born in June 1856. Mary married Patrick J. Welsh and they had ten children.
