In response to Peter Patten re Teelons in West Rutland. I believe that it may be the same family of Teelons. My great-great grandmother (Catherine Teelon Devlin) lived in West Rutland when she arrived from Ireland. She may have had an uncle or other family living there. Since she lost her husband while sailing to the U.S.A. she would have been alone. I have a feeling ( I don't know how to verify it though) that Christopher might have been buried at sea, however, there is a memorial stone for him in a small cemetery next to the Rutland Town Clerk's office in Center Rutland VT. May I ask where you got your information from?
